Youth Exchange
«MAKING A DIFFERENCE»
Themes: to arise and promote awareness about the nature of youth work,
provide the participants with the basic knowledge of the project
management and developing the further youth exchanges inside and beyond
Europe in future.
Place : Luhansk, Ukraine
Dates : July 11-20
Participant countries in EU and Eastern Europe and the Caucasus:
Georgia, Italy, Armenia, Moldova, the Netherlands, France, Estonia, Ukraine
Profile participants:
4 participants from each organization:
- Minimum 18 years old
- Experienced in youth work
- Motivated
- Interested in youth work
General Objective: inclusion of young people, especially with fewer
opportunities into youth work through methods of non-formal education,
workshops, events and active games, thereby promotion of youth work.
SUMMARY
The youth-exchange “Make a Difference” (“MAD”) will be organized by
all-Ukrainian Association for Youth Cooperation "Alternative-V" in
Luhansk, Ukraine. The
project will last 10 days, including 2 travel days. The involved 8
countries are Georgia, Italy, Armenia, Moldova, Netherlands, France,
Estonia, Ukraine (32 participants + 8 group leaders + 2 support staff).
The aim of the project is to arise and promote awareness about the
nature of youth work, provide the participants with the basic knowledge
of the project management and developing the further youth exchanges
inside and beyond Europe in future. Furthermore, this activity will
allow participants to better and deepen their knowledge, acquire new
abilities and tools for personal development and to meet and create
partnerships with others who share the same objectives and goals of
enlarging their field of activity in the European and Caucasian regions.
During the project there will be implemented the following methods and
activities of non-formal education: getting-to-know-each-other,
ice-breaking and team-building games, language course of basic phrases
(Ukrainian), pedagogical games, intercultural evening, discovering the
environment through outdoor activities, varied workshops, visits and
activities in the local culture, presentation of Youth in Action program
and Youth-pass.

- 70% of your travel expenses will be reimbursed with the limit:
